Emily got to attend an Engagement Party for our friends Caty and Andy, and our friend Kurt's Memorial Day BBQ. She had a BLAST meeting lots of new people and wearing her super cute new outfit for the first time!

Big Girl

Emily went to the doctor this week and weighed in at 10lbs 3 0z and is 22 inches long. She's come a long way since her birth weight of 2lbs 8 0z and 14.75 inches long. :-) She is doing great and is now attempting cereal once a day. She can see how that is going! Also, she has started to "roll-over" from her stomach to her back. She gets a little assistance being propped up on her arms and does a funny little twist to get over, but we're proud of her! ;-)

Bark in the Park

Emily, Bailey, Mommy, and Daddy joined Gateway DockDogs today for Bark in the Park to support the Missouri Humane Society. Even Emily's Bailey II made it. Emily slept most of the day. :-)

Emily and Dustin are having a sleeping contest. Dustin tends to fall asleep at gatherings.....so does Emily.

Butterfly Girl

Emily's Baptism party had a butterfly feel to it. If you remember, she was in the butterfly pod while in the NICU at St. Johns. Ashley and I want to thank all of our family and friends for a very special day. You all mean alot to us and went above and beyond....especially on Mother's Day. We love you all!

Emmy is sporting her jazzy new bracelts from her Uncle Drew, Uncle Joe and Aunt Kristin. She got so many great gifts today and wants everyone to know thanks and she loves her family and friends.

Emily met her Aunt Margie for the first time this weekend. Aunt Margie brought her a bunch of fun clothes and even brought Mom and Dad some tasty treats from Philly!! We are so glad that she got to meet her Aunt Margie, Uncle Chuck, and Uncle Mike this weekend. They are her Dad's Aunt and Uncles. :-)

Big Weekend Coming Up

Emily's Dad was in LA for work last week and was busy taking pictures of celebs and the Hollywood Sign. I think you'll agree, pictures of Emily are way better! Mom happened to snap this picture to show how strong she is getting. This weekend coming up should be pretty exciting for her. Her Dad's Aunt Margie (Philadelphia) and Uncle Mike (Boston) are coming to see her for the first time.....and they are Emily's Dad's Godparents. She wanted me to make sure they bring her some Tasty Cakes. :-)

Also, Emily will be Baptized on Sunday, May 10. Her Uncle Drew will be driving in from KC and Uncle Joe and Aunt Kristin will be flying in from LA. She is excited to see her Godparents and all of her family and friends.
