Today Emmy had her appointment at the Child Development Center. This was a NICU follow-up to see how she is doing based on her adjusted age (6 months -from her due date). She met with a Nurse Practitioner, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Pediatrician. They were blown away with how well she is doing and said she's even advanced in some areas. They said that this is extremely rare for preemies born at 29 weeks.
The doctor who was there was one of the her doctors from the NICU. He said that she made his day and they had no worries or suggestions for us as she is doing great!!!! It was a pretty exciting and emotional day. We feel truly blessed that God has been looking over our little Angel and are very proud of her!
